During a daily sprint standup meeting 2 team members dispute how a task is being handled (the owner of the task and another teamate). Should the owner of the task overrule the teammate or should it be discussed corporately after the stand up meeting?

Remind Your Team That Daily Scrum Needs To Be Timebox (15 Mins). Discussion Of The Impediments Or Technical Matters Will Commence Once The Daily Scrum Is Completed. Ensure To Be The Servant Leader, Don't Micro Manage Your Scrum Team.

Daily Stand Up Is Not For Discussion And Disputes. Thats Something That Should Have Happened During Sprint Planning.

Need To Calculate (in Expedite Mode) Amount Of Time Available To Discuss The Technical Issue, Sometimes, Few Words Fix Huge Issues But, Ensure That This Kind Of Conversations Does Not Expand So Much, If Members Needs More Time To Discuss, Open Another Meeting Exclusive To Discuss Technical Aspects And Keep Going On Daily Objectives.

Teammate Can Bring Any Impediments In The Standup. Scrum Master Can Schedule Triage Meeting With The Owner Of The Task And Teammate Or Allow Them To Work After The Standup And Bring That To Closure.
